COT-Puritech
Challenge:
When COT and Puritech Companies merged, they quickly created a logo and brochure and continued doing their business. However, they soon realized they needed help fine-tuning their brand and messaging. The lubricant reclamation company asked LeapFrog Solutions (LFS) to create a new brand identity and supporting tagline and to develop consistent brand messaging that would position them to reach the high-tech market sector.
Solution:
LFS developed COT-Puritech’s new positioning statement and created a tagline that represented the benefits of the merger by strategically promoting them as leaders within their industry. The company’s new corporate identity combined components of the COT and Puritech logos making an easy transition from the original logo design to the new one. The tagline, “The Leader in Lubrication Services,” positioned them in the forefront of lubricant technology. The new branded marketing materials focused on a gear theme that was applied to the sales brochure and sell sheets. The new branded elements were then incorporated throughout all of the company’s visuals, messaging, and applied to its fleet of trucks. Lastly, LFS integrated the new brand into a custom trade show booth that allowed for flexibility, using an assortment of graphic panels by designing a modular display structure.
Results:
COT-Puritech has expanded their market base, increased revenue by 30 percent and opened up new opportunities to provide unique engineering solutions to high-tech companies – some not even related to the lubricant industry. The campaign delivered the marketing tools to increase the professionalism and consistency in its brand for continued growth.
