Challenge:
After being formed in 1996, LeapFrog Solutions, Inc. (LFS) grew steadily from a small, woman-owned marketing communications firm run out of the founder’s home, to a thriving company with more than a dozen employees. As the firm’s marketing portfolio grew, so did its reputation for providing clients with award-winning branding and integrated marketing materials including logos, websites, brochures, folders, datasheets, business cards, stationery and more.
Four years later, with an every expanding client base, a strong portfolio and numerous awards, LFS concluded its brand was dated. The time was right to practice what LFS preached to its customers. The LFS marketing suite needed to be refreshed and updated.
Solution:
LFS assigned an account team to the project just as they would for any other client. The team, which included account managers, writers, and graphics artists, made a series of recommendations for updating the LFS brand. The account team reviewed everything in the company marketing suite and the creative team developed a new logo, revised the look and feel of the LFS brand, reworking the company’s logo, marketing materials and website.
Results:
LFS unveiled its updated brand, a transformation from its original look created with the birth of the company. The brand is fresh, innovative and showed present and future clients that LFS was not afraid to follow its own advice. Furthermore, LFS revenues grew 150 percent in the 12 months following the brand refresh. With careful strategic thinking, the LFS distinctive brand has become very well known and continues to represent the company’s vision and mission.
