Fairfax, Va. — January 3, 2007 — LeapFrog Solutions Inc. (LFS), a full-service marketing communications and public relations agency, announced today it has won a coveted 2006 American Graphic Design Award for the collateral suite it created for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Junior Forest Ranger (JFR) Program.
Now in its 44th year, the American Graphic Design Award competition honors outstanding new work of all kinds in disciplines that include print, packaging, point-of-purchase, Internet, interactive and motion graphics. It is among the most prestigious, democratic and selective awards of its kind; only 10% of the thousands of entries submitted were honored.
LFS’ award-winning collateral packet is part of a rebranding campaign it conducted for the JFR, a newly revamped program that is designed to promote environmental conservation and to motivate kids ages 7 to 13 to explore the wonders of the natural and cultural world. As part of the campaign, LFS developed a communications plan for JFR; worked with the organization to build a strategic partnership program so it could obtain program funding; created a pocket folder and various insert materials that had an “earth-friendly” appeal; and designed and developed a new Web site, which is expected to launch in early 2007.

The JFR collateral design award is one of more than a dozen marketing and communications awards LFS has garnered in the past year.
