National Archives Selects LeapFrog Solutions for Design and Buildout of New Richard Nixon Web Site
Fairfax, Va. — December 11, 2006 — LeapFrog Solutions Inc. (LFS), a full-service marketing communications and public relations agency, announced today that the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has awarded it a contract to design and implement a Web site for the new federal Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum.
In early 2007, the privately operated Nixon Library and Birthplace in Yorba Linda, California, will be transformed into the nonpartisan Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum, the twelfth presidential library operated by NARA. LFS will design the new Web site for the new Nixon library. The firm will develop a site map, create a new content management system, add search functionality and build out the site’s content, which will include 600 to 700 pages of information, documents, audio, video and photos.
The new Nixon Web site will provide resources for students, educators, researchers and members of the public interested in the life and times of Richard Nixon. Among the online exhibits will be a look at Elvis’ 1970 visit to the White House — one of the Archives’ most famous holdings — and a timeline of social, cultural and political events related to Nixon’s career. To aid researchers, the site will feature domestic and foreign policy documents previously unavailable online. It will also include the Nixon White House tapes and associated subject logs, which have never before been released to the public.

LFS and NARA expect to launch the new Nixon Web site in early 2007.
