(LFS), a full-service strategic marketing communications firm, announced today that Mark Nelson has joined the firm as Business Development and Communications Manager. In his position, Mark will manage the firm’s proposal development efforts as well as contribute to strategy and writing on client projects as needed.
Mark has more than twenty years of communications experience and has served in various capacities at Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, IBM Corporation, and Sematech. While serving in these senior management roles, Mark provided a range of public relations, media relations, strategic communications, and crisis communications services.
As LFS continues to grow in the government space, Mark’s strong writing and communications background in industries such as technology, homeland security, government information technology, health care and education, will enable the firm to continue to deliver the highest quality services to clients.

Mark’s education includes an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Missouri, a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
