Rusty Griffith

Rusty Griffith comes to LeapFrog Solutions with over two decades of extensive finance, accounting, and operational experience at public and private companies. Most recently Rusty served as CFO of SecureForce, LLC, an information security consulting firm focused on federal government customers.   Prior to SecureForce, Rusty was CFO at Agent Logic, Inc, where he oversaw the successful three year transition of a consulting services company to a software product company, growing revenues from $2.5 million to $17.6 million before exiting the company with a successful sale to Informatica Corp.

Prior to Agent Logic, Rusty was part of the Mid-Atlantic venture capital community as principal with Walker Ventures, a $100 million early stage venture capital management firm. While at Walker Ventures, he structured over 70 private equity transactions, conducted due diligence, and provided expertise in the implementation of accounting systems, budgeting, hiring, operations, and cash management for many of  its portfolio companies.  Rusty also served on the Board of Directors for Brainbench, Fransmart, Agent Logic, FoodFit, and others.

Before Walker Ventures, Rusty served in a number of financial, consulting, and executive roles with Lockheed Martin, Trusted Information Systems/Network Associates, Booz Allen & Hamilton, Comsis, Siemens/Nixdorf, and IBM. As a member of the executive team of a $100M Lockheed technology business, Rusty built and managed a "best practices" accounting and finance organization and processes. During his tenure at Trusted Information Systems Inc. (TIS), Rusty oversaw the creation of key financial controls, implementation of world-class reporting procedures, and institutionalized core P&L metrics and operational requirements—culminating in a $350 million acquisition by Network Associates.

Rusty holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Loyola University in Baltimore. He is also a licensed CPA and a member of the AICPA. Rusty spends much of his spare time improving his 100-year-old home and pumping the pedals to put mileage on two wheels as an avid cyclist.
